Planes is my first novel. I started it in graduate school at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, and while finishing it I worked as a babysitter, teacher, and magazine journalist. I live in Evanston, Illinois with my wife and two kids, and put out the music newsletter Tracks on Tracks.
